It keeps coming to my attention from buyers and just folks who want to talk “real estate”, that a lot of sellers when they consider putting their home on the market they go “completely blank” about their house. My thoughts after mulling this over for a few days is that if a seller is NOT hiring an agent that has the time, energy or vision to get involved in a Property Makeover- San Diego they need to talk to us! Nothing again an agent, we all have different talents and one of ours is “vision” regarding homes. A property makeover is simply “getting ready for the Prom”. That is one event that both male and females remember “getting ready for”!!!
First of all it always has amazed me that people as a whole don’t even think about “tarting up” a house until they consider selling. I love that saying I got from an English client and use it often because it says it all! I understand maintenance can be a financial issue, but if you keep your house “up” before you buy another pair of SHOES it will pay off in the end. However, if you don’t have to buy lots of shoes or a new Porsche, well give us a call and we will start “tarting”!

Tips! Start at the CURB. Yes, we can use Home Snap and get Zillows opinion immediately, but that’s not how we work. What a prospective buyers first opinion will be is that they SEE when they drive up to that curb. Don’t stress unless the paint is literally peeling off we don’t have to get house painted. Power Washing could do the trick with maybe trim touch ups. There are a TON of “curb tricks” when doing Property Makeovers. We’ll do a plan, present it and decide together how to proceed!
