As we approach Thanksgiving in 2023, it’s a perfect time to reflect on the many things I can be grateful in my life.  This year, like no other, has had its unique challenges, especially for those in the Real Estate Profession.  With the real estate market experiencing its ups and downs, let’s count our blessings sprinkled with some humor.  Ready?

Home! We are fortunate to call North County San Diego our home, with its stunning beaches, great weather, and a laid back vibe that makes every day feel like its a vacation.  As a professional I am still honored to help others find their dream home in Paradise.  Yes, there are still buyers that need a home and though it can take a bit longer – we always succeed.

Health and Humor! Health is the ultimate wealthy, and a sense of humor is my ultimate weapon in navigating the ups and downs of life.  It helps me with keeping up my spirit even when the market has other plans.  When showing homes there is a purpose to make this adventure one filled with laughter and yes a little bit of humorous feedback.

HomesnCooking!  Not only do I love to work with real estate clients, but I am am an avid “cook”.  Our You Tube Channel is a cross between great recipes and ideas and just plain humor and laughter.  We have a web site with all the recipes including “cooking by taste” and utilizing measurements such as “smidge and sprinkle”.  Eat well and enjoy this aspect of life!  Navigating our kitchen!

Big Headed, Big Hearted Finnie:  Our beloved rescue dog.  Finnie, is a constant source of joy in our lives.  His quirky, big headed charm and mellow, sweet personality reminds us that sometimes the best things in life come in the most unexpected packages.  Plus, he’s our personal newsletter’s star, sharing his delightful stories with readers of our personal newsletters.

Real Estate Challenges! Yes, business has been challenging due to inflated prices and ridiculously high interest rates, but we choose to see this as an opportunity to learn and adapt.  It’s a chance to sharpen skills, connect with clients on a deeper level, and prepare for the market’s inevitable twists and turns.

Community!  We are grateful for the community of clients, neighbors, and friends who support us through thick and thin.  Their trust and loyalty fuel out passion for real estate!

Family!  Our biggest blessings are our loved ones.  Thanksgiving reminds us to cherish the moments we share with family and friends who are family, both at our table and beyond.

In conclusion, 2023 may not have been the year we wished for in real estate, but its shown us that gratitude can shine even in challenging times!  As we gather around the table, let’s savor each moment, share stories, laugh at Finnie’s never ending appetite, and delight in the delicious dishes created.  After all, life is about more than the market – it’s about the love, laughter, and simple pleasures that we’re lucky enough to enjoy.  Happy Thanksgiving from our family to yours!!!
